Our source informed us that Harris was moved for his own safety and is now in Stafford prison – which completed its transition to a centre for sex offenders last month. With all 741 inmates at the 200-year-old town centre category C jail now having been convicted of sex crimes. The 84-year-old is serving a five year nine months prison stretch after he was convicted of 12 indecent assaults in June at Southwark Crown Court. His historic sex crimes spanned between 1968 and 1986 and his victims included an eight year old girl, two more girls in their early teens and abuse of his daughter’s friend over 16 years.
Just as The Sun went to press with the piece, police revealed that they’re now investigating more claims after 10 women have come forward saying the children’s presenter abused them too.
