DOES MY BUM LOOK BIGGER IN THIS?
BY SARAH ARNOLD AND HANNAH BARR
WHILE most blokes are either breast or bum men, Henry White is definitely the latter. But it's not women's curvy bottoms he's obsessed with... it's his OWN. And after two decades feeling insecure about it, he's spent thousands to become the first man in Britain to have bum implants - to look as curvy as Hollywood star J-Lo. "I have always felt ashamed of my skinny, flat behind and thought it hindered my luck with the opposite sex," says the 35-year-old barman. "I even resorted to wearing two pairs of pants to fill it out. When I heard about women getting implants it was the answer to my prayers. Why should they just be for girls?" Henry was a teenager when he first became self-conscious about his bottom. He says: "I hated it and I never felt comfortable in my clothes." His ex-girlfriend and mother of his 17-year-old son had no complaints about his figure. But when they split up in 1996 Henry, from East London, started feeling depressed about his bottom again. He tried to build it up in the gym but that didn't work. Then he saw a documentary about buttock implants. He raided his life savings and begged his mum for pounds 3,600 to help pay for the pounds 7,200 procedure with the Transform Medical Group. During the one-hour op, surgeons sliced Henry open and put silicone gel implants into his buttocks - leaving him unable to sit down for TWO WEEKS. But he says it was worth it - and is now considering having chest implants too. He adds: "I've never been in so much agony but I've got the butt I dreamed of. The bottom line is I've never been happier!" |
